You’ve probably heard that stress is the leading cause of disease and reduced productivity. It can significantly impact your work performance, increase your chances of suffering from many health problems, and even shorten your lifespan. But the consequences of stress only grow more pervasive as time goes on.

Stress has been linked to emotional, physical, and mental health issues. If you’re experiencing stress in your life, it might be time to seek help. But how do you know if you’re experiencing enough stress to cause problems? Here are some warning signs that can help you take action before it’s too late:

You’re Constantly Anticipating The Worst

One of the surest signs that you’re experiencing too much stress is consistently anticipating the worst. If a problem has always bothered you, it’s probably okay. However, if you keep worrying about it even when everything appears to be A-okay, you should really pay attention to this.

You Feel Overwhelmed By The Possibility Of Stress

This might seem like a contradictory statement, but hear me out. There is a difference between stress as a feeling and stress as a concept.
