What you do in the morning has a significant impact on your day. That’s because your habits result from what you do every day.

Whether you realize it or not, your morning rituals shape your entire day. If you have negative morning habits, they’ll show up repeatedly. It’s not enough to just recognize them, though. You have to take positive steps to change them.

These are the 7 morning habits that I do every day and will make you happier, more productive, and more successful.

1. Meditate

Many people try to meditate but give up after a couple of sessions. Why? Because the act of sitting still for 10-20 minutes feels unnatural to our brains. But the truth is you were born to meditate. We were not meant to be busy. We were meant to be still. It’s one of the most effective ways to clear your mind and focus.

Meditation can be as simple as taking a slow, deep breath. Try to focus on your breath and nothing else. If you’re new to it, this is probably very difficult. That’s perfectly normal. With time, you’ll notice that your brain will relax, and you’ll feel much more centered.
