I had a dream last night that I finally saw my sister after two very long years. We decided to take a vacation together, and we met at a hotel at our destination.

However, when she saw me, she just walked right past me and into her hotel room as if she wasn’t even happy about our reunion. Her husband had tripped on the carpet, and she was more interested in helping him stay on his feet and get him to his room than to make a fuss over seeing me again.

Once in her room, we talked about how I had cut her hair via Zoom. She stood in front of a mirror so that I could see the back of her head. Then via video, I would guide her hand holding the scissors and tell her where she had to cut.

I woke up at this point in the dream, and I was very hurt by how unphased my sister had been to see me again. Thankfully, I quickly realized that it was only a dream and what a silly dream it was! I mean, come on! My sister is a trained hairdresser, so why would I ever do something like guide her hand to cut her hair using Zoom? Where do I get these crazy ideas?

That’s the point.

Dreams are full of crazy, made-up thoughts and ideas.
