How to Get Your Confidence and Mojo Back After The Pandemic

Mental health in the new world of living with COVID-19.

Recently, I was with a group of older women friends who went away for a weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. For most of them, it was the first time they’d traveled since the start of the pandemic.

They talked about losing their confidence and had concerns about traveling once again. Others had gotten so used to limiting their social contact that getting out among people felt strange. And others said they had just somehow lost their mojo.

At the time of writing, the world is still experiencing a pandemic.

Some people chose to ignore Covid from the start or were quick to get back to “normalcy” after the government enforced lockdowns. Many might say that their lives didn’t change very much at all.

However, others have been more deeply affected by Covid, even if they didn’t get the virus themselves.

I’m an excellent example of this. As a corporate trainer, coach, and consultant, I used to travel nearly every week. In 2018 for example, I completed 47 business trips and traveled for 238 days. Taking away weekends leaves 261 working days a year, even less if you consider public holidays. So as you can see, I was on the road…
