Do you ever feel like you’re constantly chasing after new things and never able to stick with anything for very long? If so, you might be suffering from Shiny Object Syndrome. This condition affects many people and can cause them to lose focus and not achieve their goals. In this post, I will discuss Shiny Object Syndrome, help you identify if you have it, and give you some tips to overcome it!

What is Shiny Object Syndrome?

Shiny Object Syndrome means you get easily distracted by new things and ideas. You might start working on a project but then get side-tracked by something else that seems more interesting or exciting. This can cause you to never finish what you started and always chase the next big thing.

I’m definitely a sufferer of this syndrome. I earn a good living in the traditional way of trading my time for money. The problem with this model is that my earnings are limited by the number of hours I can work per day. I want to earn more passive income that continues to flow in — days, weeks, and even months after putting in the work.

In the past, I started a drop shipping project, dabbled with my first product (silicone ice ball molds), and had them produced in China with my logo. I didn’t sell any of them and the Amazon warehousing costs that…
