“Someday” Never Comes — Do It Now!
Don’t die with your dreams still inside of you.
Do you have dreams? Are there things that you want to do, but you keep telling yourself that you’ll do them “someday”? If so, stop right now! Saying that you’ll do something “someday” is a surefire way to ensure that it never happens. If you want to do something, there are ways to make it happen today.
My father loved trains, and he told me that his dream was to go on a rail adventure across the Rocky Mountains. First, he was waiting until he retired. Then he waited because he was the primary caregiver for my mother. Once my mother went into a nursing home, he waited because he didn’t want to go on such a journey alone and without my mom. And then he passed away with his dream still inside of him.
Why don’t we do the things we want to do? The most common answers are not enough time, not enough money, or because it’s selfish. None of these things should stop you if you really want to do something. There are always ways to make anything happen. Don’t be one of those people who die with their dreams still inside of them.
